PLANS TO REOPENING OF SCHOOLS IN GHANA

Most of the countries experienced total lockdown while others had partial lockdown as the pandemic continued spreading like wild fire.

Many countries experienced a lot of human mortality as a result of the virus, Ghana and the rest of the world have experienced unusual times, the pandemic that hit the world like a thunderbolt would continue to spread and be fresh always on everybody mind.

All the schools activities and other activities ranging from traveling, businesses and many more came to a stand still.

This was to reduce the rate of which the virus was spreading.

However activities like businesses and travelling and even storting have resumed.

Educational institutions are the only areas that are still close.

The government is planning to reopen all educational institutions in early January 2021.

The minister of education should not rush into opening of schools due to pressure from the Ghanaian populace.

The minister of education should wait for the virus cases to decline drastically before they open schools.

Looking at the large number of students in our schools,if one student tests positive to the virus,it will spread to the whole school.

The minister of education in collaboration with other stakeholders of education should there postpone the reopening of schools to somewhere June.

The should provide students in the tertiary institution with laptops so they can access the online platforms.
