CHECK OUT CRISTIANO RONALDO'S REACTION TO ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI BEATING HE AND LIONEL MESSI TO THE BEST FIFA MEN'S PLAYER AWARD

Cristiano Ronaldo's face was a picture after Robert Lewandowski won the best FIFA Men's Player award for 2020.

After a stunning 55-goal season for Bayern Munich, where he won a historic treble, Lewandowski beat both Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to win the coveted prize for the first time in his career.

He was announced as the winner at the ceremony in Zurich and though it was a virtual event, FIFA president Gianni Infantino was on hand to present him the award in person after travelling to Munich.

All three nominees were live on the screen and fans spotted 2016 and 2017 winner Ronaldo sulking with earphones in and his arms folded as Lewandowski collected his trophy.

While Messi looked relatively happy despite losing, Ronaldo's reaction said it all and was the latest instance of him being fuming over not winning a top individual prize.

The trio were all included in the FIFPro World XI but clearly Ronaldo wanted more recognition after another fine season with Juventus.
