LAWYER MAURICE AMPAW ‘FIRES ’ CHAIRMAN WONTUMI STRAIGHT IN THE FACE (VIDEO )

Popular private legal private legal practitioner, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has told Ashanti Region Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wuntumi straight in the face that, he made a mistake by accepting an award from a supposed staff of the United Nations, Kwame Owusu Fordjour.

According to him, Chairman Wuntumi could not conduct any background checks before accepting the award and that was a big error.

A supposed award from the United Nations organized by Kwame Owusu Forjour, has turned out to be a scam. Top politicians and musicians in Ghana fell victims to the award scam, which has since become a form of mockery in Ghana.

Some of the beneficiaries have apologized for not making any vivid background checks before receiving the awards. Chairman Wuntumi was among the top politicians in the country, who fell victims to the awards.

Speaking on the ‘Mmra Ne Abramu Nsem’ on Wuntumi Television, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw, indicated that, it was wrong in the first place for Chairman Wuntumi to have taken the award without making any thorough investigations.

He however was quick to add that, Chairman Wuntumi only made the checks after receiving the awards, only to find out that, it was a scam.


“Chairman Wuntumi made a mistake for receiving that award, he should not have received it in the first place. He only made the checks after receiving the awards which was very wrong, but at least he crosschecked. 

But that guy (Dr. UN) must be arrested, what he has done is very bad to this country and I promise to report him myself”. Lawyer Marice Ampaw indicated.

He further added that, the National Accreditation Board must take a look into how awards are organized in this country. He is unhappy, almost everyone in Ghana is allowed to give out awards without any form of regulation.
