CHECK OUT THE NEW VALUE OF GHANAIAN CEDI TO THE US DOLLAR AND OTHERS

At the advent of democratic rule (Civilian rule) in 2003 September under the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the US dollar was sold for Gh¢ 0.8550; Under the administration of former President of John Atta Mills, Cedis was sold at 1.4463 per Dollar, while he met it at 1.1595 per United states one(1) dollar.

On July 24, 2012, John Atta Mills died and Ex- President John Dramani Mahama took over and under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration it was GH¢1.8969. Since then, Naira value keeps on demoting, as of today 7th September 2020 Cedis is rated 5.7750 While at Black Market is 5.80.


In September 2014, 1 USD = GH¢3.2900, September 2015, 1 USD = GH¢3.7500, and from 2016 till date, The New Patriotic Party had to suffer the consequences and the rate kept on demoting.
