WE ARE VILLAGERS THAT’S WHY WE HATE AND OPPRESS OUR POLITICAL OPPONENTS – MR. BEAUTIFUL
Well known Ghanaian actor, Clement Bonney also known as Mr Beautiful has schooled Ghanaians about their childish mindset towards democracy which leads to bitterness and hatred for those with opposing political orientation.
To those who really know the popular actor,fact can be attested that he took a risky decision to compaign for John Dramani Mahama in the lead up to the presidential and parliamentary elections.
This singular gesture did not sit well with some movie producers in Kumasi, the ‘world Bank’ of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) which led to most of them deciding not to feature Mr. Beautiful in their movies again to avoid getting less sales.
In a dialogue with Kingdom FM,Mr Beautiful said;
“I’m a member of the NDC and I’m not just an ordinary sympathizer. My constituency Chairman is called Kojo Arkoh in Abura Asebu Kwamankese and I duly pay my dues as a card-bearing member of the NDC.
“I’m not a sympathizer but democratically because we have not matured and we’re villagers so that’s why if someone joins Kotoko then that person is hated by Hearts of Oak supporters and vice-versa. What kind of life is that?”
