EDUCATIONAL REFORMS : PRIVATE SCHOOLS NO LONGER PART OF GHANA EDUCATION SERVICE
As part of the new education reforms by the Ghana Education Service (GES), the Director-General of Managerial Services of the Ghana Education Service (GES) Anthony Boateng has revealed that, Private schools in the country are going to be taken out of the Ghana Education Service.
Speaking in an interview on Accra-based TV station, TV3, he said that after the reforms are completed, private schools will be placed under the National Inspectorate Division instead of the Ghana Education Service (GES).
He said, “The Ghana Education Service (GES) is the regulator of education at the pre-tertiary level and is supposed to ensure that all schools perform to standard.
