Building a house or owning a house, is not something that requires billions before one can start as many may think. Some people thinks that, you have to get millions or billions before you can build a house to live in, which is not true such that many people who are not earning that high owns a house.

To own a house, you have to plan strategically towards that. Many things requires planning, you have to plan ahead and work towards that. And also know how to save your income, or know how to spend your income, as many people rent houses but they spent their incomes as the rich.

Below are some things to do if you want to build your own house.

1. ADEPT THE HABIT OF SAVING AND SPEND LESS.

Many people spend their income on things which are expensive, and all in the name of living a luxurious lifestyle, or to show off. In other to build your own house, you have to cut your consumption and increase your savings, so as to get more money to start the building process. Also there may be a cheaper alternative of things that you may prefer, or will like to buy, so you can spend your money on that cheaper alternative, then going for the expensive things. You can save a percentage of your income every month, so that you can buy a plot of land to start building your house.

2. START GRADUALLY , to build your own house you don't need millions, or billions before you can do that, but you can start in a gradual process by purchasing a plot of land, or building materials. Because a city was not built in a day, but gradually, so don't wait to get more money before you can start building your house, but you can purchase or but the needed things in a small quantity.

3. PERSEVERANCE AND DETERMINATION. Make an effort towards your goal or aspiration to own a house. You can not build your own house by just sitting down, but to work hard towards that. Take a step towards achieving that, by starting something such as starting the foundation of the building, and completing it in a gradual process.
