HAWA KOOMSON ALLEGEDLY ARRESTED BY GHANA POLICE

News reaching us indicates that the Ghana Police Service has finally arrested the MP for Awutu Senya East Constituency,Mavis Hawa Koomson who recently fired a gun at one of the polling stations at Kasoa.

According to available reports, she was arrested in the early hours of today and is currently being interrogated by the regional commander.
Her arrest comes after she claimed she fired a warning shot at the voter’s Registration centre in Kasoa on Monday, July 20th 2020.

According to her, she fired the shot to threaten some thugs who were present at the scene.

There was a massive reaction to her action as people were calling for her arrest whiles others were calling for her Resignation.

Some suspects were arrested later but where released on bail to the tune of ghc30,000 each.
