COVID-19: GHANA’S CASE COUNT NOW 26,125 after RECORDING 695 NEW CASES
The current case count for the novel COVID-19 in Ghana has hit 26,125 after recording 695 new cases. The death toll however stands at 139 since the last update.
Eight persons are in critical condition, 25 severely ill and 22,270 recovered and discharged with 3,716 active cases.
Speaking at this week’s second media briefing at Accra today, Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye said the new COVID-19 cases are records of a backlog of more than 3 weeks of testing since 12 June to 12th of July.
