    NPP PRIMARIES : FORMER MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT HILDA ADDO DISQUALIFIED





    A former Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwadaso Constituency Josephine Hilda Addo has been disqualified from running as parliamentary candidate aspirant in the constituency.

    The National Vice Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Fredrick Freduah Antoh popularly known as F.F Antoh revealed the disqualification of the candidate in an exclusive interview citing misconduct as the grounds.

    Mr. Antoh explained to Kwame Adinkra on Kumasi-based Pure FM on Thursday (June 4) monitored by Mynewsgh.com that the former Kwadaso member of Parliament has on numerous occasion brought the party’s image into disrepute in her public utterances and has continued to disparaged some executives of the party although she was earlier cautioned.

    Mr. Antoh stated that she has been out rightly disqualified from contesting in the party’s parliamentary primaries which has been slated to June 20, 2020.

    This new revelation brings the number to three candidates aspiring for the Kwadaso parliamentary seat in the forthcoming primary in the Ashanti region.

    Two of them, Mr. Vincent Yaw Frimpong Manu and Dr. Kingsley Nyarko, are seen to be Nana Addo “boys” having been given appointments by the current administration as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Development Projects and Operations and Executive Secretary of the National Accreditation Board (NAB) respectively.

    The other pair which was earlier inclusive of Mrs. Hilda Addo, and the incumbent MP, Dr. Samiu Kwadwo Nuamah, is identified as belonging to the ‘Alan Kyeremateng faction’ within the party.
