PRAYING WITHOUT WORKING WILL KEEP YOU POOR FOREVER-KWADWO SARFO JNR SCHOOLS ‘EMPTY HEADED ’ CHRISTIANS

CEO of Katanka group, Kwadwo Safo Jnr has schooled over spiritual Christians to face reality.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Adwoa Sarkodie, the commercial pilot turned CEO disclosed that praying without working will keep you poor forever.

According to him, Christians should relinquish from being over spiritual to the detriment of their physical and financial wellbeing.


Kwadwo Safo Jnr gave an instance of Christians praying in church for employment but failing to go out to strive hard and find something to do.


He noted that Christians should not go to church on weekdays to pray for a divine blessing when they should be out there working.


He added that he although he is the leader of Kristo Asafo Church, he doesn’t encourage congregants to over dwell in the spiritual realm or spirituality.

“We have a lot of churches in Ghana that entertain laziness. People go to the church to ask for prayers for employment instead of going out into the real world to strive hard and find something to do.”


“Worshipping God is good. I’m the leader of Kristo Asafo church. But people should face reality. I’m a realist. Don’t put all your hope in the word of a pastor and go home without working. If you go out there and decide to work and let the word support whatever you’re doing, you can be successful.”

“But don’t go to church on a weekday to ask for some kind of grace or mercy or divine blessing when you should be out there working.”

“I don’t encourage my congregants to overdwell in a spiritual realm. I want them to build on what they have. I believe God put us on this earth to handle what is on this earth.”Kwadwo Safo noted.
