OUR 2020 MANIFESTO WILL FOCUS ON MAKING UNIVERSITY EDUCATION FREE AND ACCESSIBLE TO ALL QUALIFIED STUDENTS – PREZ. AKUFO ADDO

 The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo made a giant entry into the Garden City of Ghana, Kumasi.

The President claims that he was in the Garden City of Ghana, Kumasi to first of all attend the ushering or swearing-in of the first Vice-Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He made this known in an interview with Oheneba Asiedu on Wontumi Television/Radio.


The President in the interview with Oheneba Asiedu talked mainly about his achievements and successes he’s chalked for the past three and half years that he’s been President. He talked about Free SHS, Planting for Food and Jobs, Infrastructure, The Economy, etc. He said that both his records as a President and that of President Mahama should be compared as he’s performed better compared to him in all spheres and sectors of governance.


The President whilst talking about his Free SHS policy and his vision for Ghana’s educational structure in totality, made a bold statement that the New Patriotic Party’s 2020 will focus on making University Education,  PARTIALLY FREE if not fully, and accessible to all qualified students. He says they will look at providing SOFT LOANS for all students to be able to access to cater for their tertiary education if the government WILL NOT DIRECTLY pay for them.
