8 NEW DEATHS AS GHANA RECORDS 31,057 COVID-19 CASES

Eight more people have died in the latest update provided by the Ghana Health Service on COVID-19.

This jumps the number of COVID-19 related deaths from the previous 153 to 161.

Also, 691 new cases have been recorded surging the total case count to 31, 057 out of which 27,801 recoveries have been recorded.


Currently, the number of active cases in the country are 3,095.


Greater Accra Region continues to lead with the highest number of infections with 16,068 followed by the Ashanti Region and the Western Region.
