GHANA : NPP KWABRE EAST YOUTH LOCK PARTY OFFICE AND INVOKE CURSES OVER IMPOSITION OF PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE

Some NPP youth in Kwabre East Constituency have today locked the party’s office located in Mamponteng in the Ashanti Region. According to sources ,it’s believed the action of the youth was necessitated by the disqualification of one Lawyer Anthony Osei Poku from the contest.

The angry youth showing their displeasure today at a press conference held in Mamponteng stated that, some of the constituency executives and some regional executives are pushing the agenda to allow the incumbent Mp, Hon. Francisca Oteng Mensah to go unopposed.

Addressing the media today, the spokesperson for the youth, Kofi Agyapong Bismark said, they’ve seen the list of the constituencies that have been cleared by the National Executive Council of the NPP to allow contest in the various constituencies except Kwabre East.

They are sending a strong signal to their party leaders; should they try to impose a candidate on them. He said. Ending the press conference, the leader of the youth, Bismark, led the youth invoke curses on anybody that has anything to do with the supposed illegalities.
